Tax Clearances

A tax clearances certificate is an official document proving that a person or business has paid all federal taxes and has no liens. It may be required for grants, contracts, licenses, or business transactions.

Statutory Requirements

  • Statutory requirement for all traders. Failure means 10% Withholding Tax must be withheld.
  • Required for operator's licenses for public service vehicles.
  • Required for Shop Licences Act licenses.
  • Required for mining registration certificates.
  • Required for tourist facility licenses.

VAT Registration Requirements

  1. Must be registered with ZIMRA with a BP number
  2. Payments for all tax heads must be up to date
  3. Fully completed REV 1 FORM
  4. Sales invoices or confirmed contracts
  5. Sales projections for next 12 months
  6. Current stamped bank statement
  7. Letter appointing public officer
  8. Valid lease agreement or title deed

ZIMRA Registration

All clients must register with ZIMRA within 30 days and comply with submitting timely returns and payments.

Filing Tax Returns

We assist with QPDs, PAYE returns (P2), VAT returns, and Income Tax Annual Returns (ITF 12C).
